The Minnesota Vikings have agreed to a deal with veteran QB Gus Frerotte. Frerotte was a back-up with the St. Louis Rams last season. According to John Clayton, the deal will be longer then 1-year but won’t be completed till the owners meetings conclude. The sides just need to time finalize the language in the contract. Frerotte is now 36, and played for the Vikes in 2003 and 2004. What does this

The Vikings have ended discussions with the Houston Texans for back-up Sage Rosenfels services. Instead the team has decided to sign former St. Louis Ram Gus Frerotte. He looks to be a serviceable back-up in Minnesota.
