The Sun is today rabbiting on about the fact that Toon owner Mike Ashley has “summoned” King Kev for some “crunch” talks. Looks like KK’s confession that, realistically, fifth is the best that Newcastle can ever hope for has ruffled a few feathers - but then again - to be perfectly frank, that’s the truth. There is a vast chasm between the Big Four with their Champions League prize money and the UEFA Cup “prize” money which is so pitiful that fishing loose change out of the back of Michel Platini’s sofa would produce more dosh.
