But I'm still fired up to see what Crawford can do playing for Don Nelson.

Knicks Free Cap Space, Look to the Future in Dealing Crawford for Harrington
The Sporting Blog —
The latest reports on the Al Harrington deal that we discussed here about an hour ago: It's Jamal Crawford for Harrington, not Malik Rose. That's kind of a shocker. Crawford's been especially potent for D'Antoni, arguably playing the best ball of his career and, after a rocky beginning, has really gotten it. But Harrington's deal expires in 2010, while Crawford's on the books til 2011. The Knicks cap situation is a mess because they're so far over; however, this can finally free up the max money they need to do ... well, you know what they'd like to do. ...
Knicks Land Al Harrington For Either Best N.Y. Guard or Cap Relief
FanHouse —
... within reach of a 2010 max contract for a player with 7-8 years of experience (that covers LeBron, Wade, Bosh and Amare). That doesn't account for New York's next two years worth of draft picks or David Lee, so clearly there's a bit more paring left. But if this is indeed the deal, there's no overwhelming need to cut Zach Randolph free any longer. The Knicks can be 2010 players with him. UPDATE: Rarely wrong Marc Stein of ESPN.com reports that it's Crawford. Knicks Land Al Harrington For Either Best N.Y. Guard or Cap ...
The Harrington-Crawford Swap
Rip City Project | A Portland Trailblazers blog —
This is what we know, Al Harrington is probably going to the Knicks in return for Jamal Crawford. Apparently the Clippers were involved for awhile, and they would have taken Zach Randolph off New York's hands, but according to ESPN is remained a simple Warriors-Knicks deal. I'd have to imagine the Knicks won't be done trading until they get someone to take Randolph and his contract off their hands. ...

Sports Crackle Pop —
... Maybe you’ve noticed this over the last few years. There haven’t been a lot of things to cheer for at the Garden for Knicks fans. They’ve been an embarrassing collection of owners, coaches and malcontent players. And yet, through it all, there has been Jamal Crawford. Now, he’s apparently on his way to Golden State for Al Harrington. ...

Donnie Walsh plays fantasy basketball GM for a day
tonyblogs.net —
... The Knicks made two big trades today, sending Jamal Crawford to the Warriors for Al Harrington and Zach Randolph and Mardy Collins to the Clippers for Tim Thomas and Cuttino Mobley. From a "win this year" standpoint, they look like horrible trades. From a "let's get LeBron in 2010" standpoint, they are small miracles. ...
When Can I Buy My Knicks LeBron Jersey?
Straight Bangin' —
To sleep, perchance to dream... Well, it was fun having a watchable team for ten games this year, but that's a wrap. Jamal, Z-Bo, Mardy Collins out; Al Harrington, Cuttino Mobley, and Tim Thomas in. Whoa. Positives of the day's (trans)action(s): 1) Tim Thomas is a player I love to hate. He even has that devastatingly perfect nickname, "Fugazi" (wasn't it cute when he and Kenyon Martin were feuding as though either of them would ultimately matter?) Now he's back and the Knicks will be ...

... The hot stove is chock full o’ rumors but a little light on the action right now. Hell, the biggest trade action of the week came from the Knickerbockers, who completed Phase I of Operation Get LeBron by chopping like, $30M bucks off their future payroll. Not exactly what we all had in mind, but that’s just the way it goes. ...
Knicks De-Zekeing, Clippers Still Clippering
RedsArmy.com - The Voice Of Celtics Fans —
... Ever pull out some old clothesline or rope and find it full of a million knots? That’s pretty much what Donnie Walsh found when he inherited the Knicks from Isiah Thomas. Donnie undid two of those knots by trading Jamal Crawford and Zach Randolph in separate deals with the Warriors and Clippers. In return, the Knicks are getting Al Harrington, Cuttino Mobley and Tim Thomas. ...
NBA Weekly: New York Knicks Trade Jamal Crawford & Zach Randolph
Hip 2 Da Game —
... New York Knicks: The New York Knicks made a pair of deal yesterday trading both Jamal Crawford and Zach Randolph. Crawford was traded to the Warriors for disgruntled forward Al Harrington and Randolph was sent packing to the LA Clippers for Cuttino Mobley and Tim Thomas. On the surface, looking at the players involved in these trades, you would have to give the advantage to the teams that the Knicks traded with. However, what the Knicks are doing here is dumping payroll so they can go after some of the big free agents in the years 2010-2011. According to Jalen ...

... Double digits. Including Michael Redd, six Bucks are averaging at least 10.0 points per game this season: Redd (21.3), Richard Jefferson (17.9), Ramon Sessions (15.5), Charlie Villanueva (11.6), Andrew Bogut, (11.1) and Luke Ridnour (10.0). And a seventh, Luke Mbah a Moute (9.7) is very close. No team in the NBA has seven players averaging double figures (the Knicks had seven prior to the trades). The Bucks have offensive problems, but balance doesn't appear to be one of them anymore. Granted, the injuries to Redd and Villanueva play a sizable role in the increased ...

... Youngins runnin' and gunnin'. Golden St. has as many teenagers as guys in their thirties. Rookie forward Randolph is 19 and Stephen Jackson is the eldest Warrior at just 30. They are youthful, full of energy, and like to run, run, and run. They rank second in pace, so expect another game in the 100's tonight. Opponents have scored 100+ in 18 of 21 games (85.7 %) against the Warriors this year. They are the least efficient defensive team in the league, and trading for Jamal Crawford isn't going to change that. The former Knick is averaging 23.3 points and 5.0 assists in ...
