I can't believe that the local Boston news spent 10 seconds on this (nevermind two full minutes), but via With Leather comes the story of a couple of Red Sox fans getting their kid baptized at Fenway.... Just weird. I can't believe someone hasn't though of this sooner though. The best part was that the couple drove up from Florida. Are you kidding me?! ... has about three and a half years of cheering to catch up to most of Red Sox Nation. By "floodgates", the television anchors do not mean "gates of enduring fan hell". Not at all. And yes, if this was an action deeply seeded in another team's fanbase (Yankees and Cubs excluded) it would be much more palatable.
