For Syracuse lacrosse fans this weekend is a great one as the team is back where they belong, in the Final Four! If you live in Washington D.C. or the surrounding area you can watch the game along with helping out a great cause at the same time.

Tonight the Diamond Heels will begin their quest to win the ACC post season tournament and they will do it facing a Cavaliers team that has some unfinished business with UNC.

With the Men's and Women's lacrosse team going to the Final Four all should be great and wonderful. However, in this short post I have to report something that will without a doubt sadden anyone and everyone that is connected with the Men's team.

This was definitely not the way that the Diamond Heels wanted to begin their reign as the consensus number one team in the land. North Carolina (45-11) kicked off their ACC Tournament on the wrong foot as they lost to Virginia (37-19) by the score of 8 to 7.
