Week 7 Fantasy Football Prep

photo

Here it is...Week 7 Fantasy Football prep. This week we will break down the Cowboys recent craziness and how it all effects the Fantasy World, the good, the bad, and the ugly from Week 6. Some interesting news and notes, and waiver wire advice. Let's get this thing going.

Tony Romo will miss the next 4 - 6 weeks with a busted pinkie. And Felix Jones is out for 2 - 4 weeks with a hamstring inury. These two injuries may not be good news for Owens, Witten, and the rest of the receiving options. but it may be good news for Marion Barber. With Felix Jones out, and 'Checkdown' Johnson at the helm, Barber will be the Cowboys workhorse. Jones has been getting 5 carries a game through the first 6 weeks. Barber has been averaging around 18. That equals at least 4 - 5 more carries for him until Jones get back. He is also the teams second leading receiver with 25 catches so far this season. 'Checkdown' Johnson will be checking down to Barber at least 5 - 6 times as well. So you are looking for Marion to get about 30 touches a game.

Over the last 3 weeks Drew Brees is averaging 338 pass yards a game and surpassed 320 yards in each of his last 4. Last week against Oakland he threw for 320 yards and 3 TDs. Brees is on pace for 5,300 passing yards and 32 passing TDs.

Frank Gore has 308 total yards in his last 3 games. He hit pay dirt in each of his last 2 games. Last week he had 101 yards and 1TD on the ground against Philly. Along with 3 catches for 16 yards.

Bernard Berrian 131 yards and a TD against Detroit last week. He has 5 or more catches in each of his last 3 games, 2 games in a row with 100+ yards. Berrian is on pace for 1,395 rec yards and 6 rec TDs.

Jason Campbell. Are you kidding me? A hair over 200 yards? The only guy that did worse than you was Marc Bulger with his blinding 136 yards. But at least he won.
