Welcome to the web, Phil Franchise Links9
Phil Hughes is already down in Tampa working out. He also set up his own weblog. It’s brand new but he has two posts up and we’re told there will be more on the way. We’re pleased to say that Phil linked to this blog, so it’s the least we can do to return the favor. Now that Phil is blogging, maybe we can get some other Yankees on line. I even have titles for them: ... [link]

65 Pitches
Published 1/17/2008 by Steve Lombardi at WasWatching.com
According to Pete Abe, Phil Hughes now has a blog. I dunno. It still "Smells Like Teen Schilling." To date, Phil has faced 306 big league batters and has successfully retired 206 of them (while also allowing 64 hits, 29 walks, 2 hit batsmen and 5 reaching on an error). Call me crazy, but, in general, I think a big league pitcher should have at least 500 outs under his belt before he launches a media outlet. And, before anyone fires up their flame and points it at my direction, answer this question: If the word came out today that ...

Hughes is bloggin’
Published 1/17/2008 by Jason at MY BASEBALL BIAS
Saw this linked by Pinto at Baseball Musings and PeteAbe at Lohud. Phil Hughes, the Yankee phenom, now has a blog in addition to his official website. I must say the blog needs a little help brother so don’t be afraid to call if you need some pointers with the code. His official site, however, is packed with some nice things including a forum. Welcome to club Phil. I just might pick me up some of the those jackets you displayed from LRG. Maybe if I’m lucky, he’ll add MBB ...

Hughes and I have something in common
Published 1/17/2008 by Andrew Fletcher at Scott Proctor's Arm - A New York Yankees Blog
Phil Hughes and I are both bloggers. Peter Abraham informed us that Hughes has started his own blog tonight. I'll certainly be following it throughout the season, as I'm interested to see what life is like for a young, highly-touted pitcher. Hopefully he keeps it going throughout the season. And hopefully he'll be writing about his time as a Yankee, and not a Minnesota Twin.

Phil Hughes, Blogger

... the internets to give us a little glimpse into his life. I'm doubly glad that he's still a Yankee and it'll be fun to follow along with him during Spring Training and the regular season. I'm wondering if there will be a post up soon titled, "Why I need to throw my change-up more." In related news, there is an "official Clay Buchholz" blog, but it doesn't look like he even writes it. Anyway, you can find it at www.hotlaptops.com. Hat tip to River Ave Blues, Pete Abraham and MLBTR. Not sure who had it first. ...

Lineups yesterday, so let's do coaching staff today
Published 1/17/2008 by Dave & Aziz Nekoukar at NJ.com: Pride of the Yankees
Pete Abe reported last night that Phil Hughes has set up his own blog , which has gotten a lot of attention from -- where else? -- the blogosphere. Hughes's accessibility -- he always returns fan mail -- has made him instantly likeable and very, very easy to root for. Like Andrew of the blog Scott Proctor's Arm , we'll be bookmarking his blog and following it throughout the season. At least now the only access to a pitcher's mind won't be Curt Schilling's blog. Meanwhile, the only other "Yankee news" out there is the continuing super-sad story of Jim Leyritz's ...

Phil Hughes Joins Blogosphere
Published 1/17/2008 by Mark McCray at The Bronx Stop: A Yankees Blog
Apparently, Phil Hughes has officially joined the rest of the Blogosphere and is preparing a hostile takeover of Curt Schillings weak blog, 38Pitches. I have never read any of Schillings garbage, but I would probably read anything that Hughes has to say-- so this is good news. Good luck to you, Phil!!! VIA River Ave. Blues, LoHud Yankees Blog ...

Rounding The Bases: Another Pitcher Joins The Series Of Tubes
Published 1/17/2008 by Andy Smith at Bugs & Cranks
Philip Hughes will now be contributing his thoughts to the blogoshpere. [LoHud Yankees Blog] Is it possible the Braves have collected too many outfielders this offseason? [Braves Blast] No one is going to beat the Marlins this year…in pick-up basketball. [Wax Heaven] The steroid investigation could jeopardize Miguel Tejada’s immigration status. It was not a good week for Miggy. [Houston Chronicle] JP Ricciardi is a smug prick. [Drunk Jays Fans] Got a story we should see? Send electronic ...
