CU recruit OT Nik Abele Impressed By His Visit This Weekend, DE Colton Nash Still Favors Buffs
Just feels like the Buffs are finally getting momentum. An unlikely win this weekend could really help as well. Here is Nik Abele's take on CU from ESPN.com:

Arizona State Now Enters the Diante Jackson Sweepstakes
The Ralphie Report —
... thing he has seen or heard. After his visit during spring ball, Diante said CU was his #1, after he visited to Oregon, he committed. After he visited CU the week of Iowa State, he was close to changing his commitment. It might be like the announcers say, "the last one to have the ball may win this one." Hopefully, Hawkins has the last word. I am confused why he is considering Arizona State now...if there is someone the Buffs shouldn't have to recruit against, it would be them.
Greg Biggens of ESPN reports that Diante "needs about two more weeks." Diante also ...

Buffs Offer Another Quarterback/Athlete, Josh Moten
The Ralphie Report —
According to Greg Biggens of ESPN:
Moten lands Big 12 offer
It was a good weekend for athlete Josh Moten (Harbor City, Calif./Calif.). Friday night, Moten led the Gauchos to a come from behind win over a tough Crenshaw (Los Angeles) squad and a berth in the Los Angeles City Championship game.
On Saturday, the good news continued as Moten received a big offer out of the Big 12.
"I just got offered by Colorado," Moten said. "They want me as an athlete and feel I could come in and do some different things ...
4* DT Edward Nuckols Down to Three Schools, CU Might Not Be Front Runner Anymore
The Ralphie Report —
... Well, after learning that CU wasn't the slam dunk choice for WR Diante Jackson last week in our interview to now finding out that 4* DT Edward Nuckols may like Arizona more than CU plus Florida is now in the running, things are not looking good for the Buffs. I am officially worried about the future. Today marks the day. These are two must get guys in my book and right now, it is up in the air to a point that getting one might be the best case scenario.
Here is what Nuckols told Greg Biggens at ESPN.com:

Wednesday Morning Recruiting News
The Ralphie Report —
According to ESPN.com, the Buffs have offered California DT Justin Brown (ESPN_Rivals). Brown is 6'2" 260 pounds and is listed as running a 4.8 second forty. Many people, including Greg Biggins, thinks Brown is a pretty big sleeper. Rivals has him ranked as the 65th DT in the nation and a three star, which is a pretty strong rating for a guy that hasn't gotten a ton of looks so far in the process. But things are warming up for Brown. He is trying to visit New Mexico this weekend and then scheduled to be in Boulder ...

... "At Colorado, they graduate a lot of their defensive backs and same with Hawaii. Both schools said that I would have a chance to come in and play early but with UCLA, I just need to figure out this grey shirt thing because I don't fully understand it. I like UCLA a lot, it's my dream school but if I'm not comfortable with the grey shirt offer, I'll probably just end going to Colorado." ...
Recruiting Roundup/Buff Bites
The Ralphie Report —
... It sounds like S Stan McKay will commit to UCLA according to ESPN.com as they have pulled his grayshirt. Something tells me that Slick Rick didn't want the Buffs to get him and took the bullet even though the recruiting class of this year and last year are full of defensive backs. Stan probably would have had a better opportunity to play here early but dreams are dreams and gotta love for a kid to have them come true. Good luck to him. It also sounds like S Nathan Fellner is staying put at Washington making DB Bradley McDougald an even more important get as the ...

Christmas, I mean Recruiting Eve, Buff Bites
The Ralphie Report —
... Buff recruit, DT Justin Brown, committed to Oregon yesterday according to ESPN.com. The Buffs really cooled on defensive linemen after they got Nuckols and Kasa. I don't believe Colorado wanted Brown's signature due to grades, full at the position, etc. Good luck to Brown at Oregon. He would have been a good prospect for the Buffs to have. ...

“I camped there last weekend and I thought I did pretty well,” Mannion said in the blog post. “Then I got a call from coach (Danny) Langsdorf on Monday offering me a scholarship and I was pretty excited. I took a day to think things over and I decided to jump on it the next day.”
Mannion will be a senior this season at Foothill.
