Erin +1I know someone who was in the Peace Corps as an idealistic young man, and he grew a beard like Baron's. Maybe a little longer than Baron's. Near the end of his 2-year stint, a lizard actually fell out of his beard. I'm not saying, just you never know.

NBC’s Heroes VS NBA’s.. uh.. heroes..?

... I can’t even fully grasp this one. Maybe this would help, I’m not sure. Peter and Sylar are basically the opposites of each other: both has the exact powers, one for good, the other for evil. I believe The Baron is equipped with BOTH ENTITIES. He’s like Yoda ANd the Emperor — striking down the Rebels and the Empire all at once leaving us mere mortals scratching our puny heads trying to quantify his exact powers. Impossible is nothing? Impossible is Baron Davis.

... Like most of you, I've really enjoyed the NBA playoffs so far. This is mainly due to the Golden State Warriors and Baron's beard, but overall the playoffs have been more entertaining than usual. I can't remember two NBA games that I have enjoyed more the games 4 and 5 of the Mavs-Warriors series. But I still can't help but think that something is missing from the NBA Playoff coverage....

... I got about 4 hours of sleep last night because I was forced to watch the Warriors come back from 20 down against the Mavs only to end up losing. Bandwagon Shmandwagon, This team has had Dirk and Co's number all season long and if it hadn't been for Baron and his beard being tossed from the game the series would already be over. I plan to Nowitness the downfall of the Mavs during game six... it's gonna be fun. Barron Davis’ beard can beat your beard up.

... makes his face look too long. He's a good-looking man, but the profile of his face, his facial features, it doesn't go. I would grow it to the side to make him look more handsome." Morgan: "Oh, I love it, I love it. It's unique, trendy, up-to-date. Some people say the mohawk died a year ago, but this is a shorter version. It shows boldness, it shows character. It's fun." Stein: "It makes him look more like a Warrior. He's cute, isn't he?" Whatley: "It definitely makes you feel more powerful, I think. To me, it was boring before--look at his eyes, not even alive. I think it either shows confidence or helps him get confidence. I love it, I like anything that's unique or different." Bui: "Oh my goodness. He looks funny. I don't like it." Rodriguez: "Like a teenager. I don't particularly care for that, but it all depends. You can tell maybe he went to barber's school; the hair is very uneven. Some of these guys are very high up, and they get very cheap haircuts." Further reading:
Will Kirilenko Show His Face in Public Again? Game 4 Preview

... pretty badly in the previous game, but don't let that fool you, Andrei Kirilenko has been an absolute menace on the defensive end. AK-47 is averaging a little over 5 blocks per game during the series. I like Golden State's chances tonight. They're at home (where they're undefeated in these Playoffs), and they have to be feeling pretty good about themselves after the show they put on in game 3. I'm sure Don Nelson will stress the importance of winning tonight's game; this team cannot afford to go back to Utah down 3-1. They will be playing desperately, and I expect them to play very well. Unless Baron Davis injures himself (always a fear with him), look for another big night from the bearded one .
