What’s Next For Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou?
A year ago, most of us had heard very little (if not nothing) of Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou. Obviously, all that quickly changed once he knocked out Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Ricardo Arona in a span of two months. Then, everything really changed for The African Assassin. Pride FC was purchased by Zuffa and all of sudden Sokoudjou became one of the hottest free agents in mixed martial arts. ... [link]

Published 2/12/2008 by Sam Cupitt at Five Ounces of Pain
Earlier this month, JarryPark.com conducted a phone-based interview with Pride and UFC veteran, Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou. In the interview, “The African Assassin” covers a lot of topics including, his most recent fight against Lyoto Machida, why he didn’t sign with EliteXC or K-1 and how come his parents don’t know that he’s a mixed martial artist. It’s especially interesting to hear his thoughts on his fight with Machida where he says he “choked”. To check out the ...

UFC Quick Quote: Win or lose, it’s all about respect

... – “The African Assassin” Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou tells Jarry Park that he’s doesn’t appreciate the post-fight comments from Lyoto Machida (who referred to himself as the “Assassin Killer”) following his submission loss to the Brazilian enigma at UFC 79 back in December. First up is a light-heavyweight bout between Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou ...

Matt Serra is getting screwed by the UFC

I can’t believe I’m about to do this but I feel the need to defend Matt Serra. If you’ve read my blog with any regularity, you know Matt Serra is about my least favorite person in the UFC. Serra was set to defend his Welterweight Championship against Matt Hughes at UFC 79 before he herniated two discs in his back.
