This is a question that many, especially within the Minnesota Twins organization are asking right now as the decision was made last week to option Francisco Liriano down to AAA Rochester. All of the indications are that Liriano is healthy and isn’t experiencing any pain in his delivery, so the problem must be either mechanical and/or to some extent mental. [link]
