What the hell was Jannero Pargo thinking?
That's Hornets guard Jannero Pargo, who surely is missing a shot in New Orleans' Game 7 loss to San Antonio. We don't care that Pargo had 16 of his 18 points in the fourth quarter. He had those points because he was chucking up the ball like he was playing a fucking pickup game. He set up isolation for himself and took terrible shots and got bailed out by a few cheap fouls on what should ... [link]

What the hell was Jannero Pargo thinking? | The Big Picture If Pargo was on my pick-up team at the park, I'd be pissed off about the shots he took last night, let alone Game 7 of the biggest series in franchise history. Chris Paul and David West were both still on the floor, right?

Just Keep Shooting, Just Keep Shooting

Jannero Pargo enters the game, what follows is his internal monologue: Alright, Jannero. Let's go. Gotta get some looks. Get some shots up. Get in a rhythm. Let's ParGO! One miss, ain't no thang. Just keep gettin' them shots. You can hit 'em. ...

LeBron James' View Outside Of Himself

And you know it, too. You know just from watching games that there's no way Chris Paul can do with Tyson Chandler what LeBron James can't do with Zydrunas Ilgauskas. That Joe Smith could be the versatile forward to LBJ as David West is to CP3. That Daniel Gibson, Delonte West and Wally Szczerbiak could play every bit the part of Jannero Pargo, Peja Stojakovic and Morris Peterson.

The real reason the Hornets lost Game 7

There are a lot of fingers being pointed, and in many different directions, at who's to blame for the Hornets' Game 7 loss last night. Chris Paul wasn't assertive enough, Jannero Pargo took too many shots, Peja Stojakovic stunk it up, Bonzi Wells was ...

Tuesday Bullets

Remember when Jannero Pargo missed the big 3-pointer from the left corner that would have tied it? The key word there may be "left." According to NBA.com's Hot Spots , over the last five games, Pargo was 7-15 from all areas on the right of the floor, ...

Did Jannero Pargo blow the game for the Hornets
It’s cool to be the hero in a game 7 but it’s more important too defer to whoever has the hot hand for the team. During last nights pivotal game 7 between the Hornets and the Spurs , Jannero Pargo tried to come out and be a superstar. Now all due respect he did finish with 18 points but he went through some rough stretches in this one where he probably should’ve just ...
On trading partners and TV broadcasters
That was a rather uneventful Game 7 in New Orleans, wasn’t it? The only saving grace was that the final few minutes got good although if I’m the Hornets, about the last guy I want taking the big shot to tie the game down three is Jannero Pargo. The Hornets were the feel good team of the year and Chris Paul certainly established himself as one of the game’s great point guards but New ...
The Last Razorback Standing
Well, the man with no conscience, aka Jannero Pargo was the last remaining Razorback in the NBA playoffs until the Hornets couldn't get the job done in game 7 at home against the Spurs. Pargo went 6-16 in game 7 including 13 shots in the fourth quarter for 18 points. Joe Johnson went out in the first round for the Hawks, and Utah's Ronnie Brewer went down in 6 to the Lakers. The Spurs ...
Why Was Jannero Pargo Taking All the Late Shots?
While watching the end of the Hornets/Spurs Game 7, there was one thought that consistently ran through my head: why the hell is Jannero Pargo taking all the shots? With talented players like Chris Paul and David West on the floor, I couldn’t understand why all the outlet passes were going to Pargo, nor why Pargo felt it was necessary to try and take over the game. He’s not their ...

Spurs Defeat Hornets and Advance to Western Conference Finals
We probably shouldn't have been surprised that San Antonio won Game 7. The Spurs executed better throughout and weren't really threatened until Jannero Pargo started going off at the end of the game. The big three for the Spurs all played well, and when that's happening, they're tough to beat. To the Hornets' credit, they played well with the exception of Peja Stojakovic, which is another ...
