... The Braves have themselves quite a little mess here with Jeff Francoeur. Not Green Bay and Brett Favre-level mess, certainly, but a PR problem nonetheless. Francoeur is, hands-down, the most popular Brave in a decade. Chipper Jones dubbed him "the golden boy," part of a good-guy lineage that stretches through Chipper directly back to David Justice and Dale Murphy. He made that famous Sports Illustrated cover and the U.S. team for the 2006 Baseball Classic. Dude hit a home run for his first major league hit. What could possibly go wrong? ...
