My father is 6'7" and weighs 327 lbs. He has an incredibly thick beard and is very intimidating to everyone that he comes across. Do you have that picture in your mind? Good.

Rudy Gay AND Shawn Marion to Phoenix?
Fanster's Suns Community —
Well, this is interesting…
Yahoo! Sports writer Adrian Wojnarowski reported today that there are now three-team talks between the Phoenix Suns, Memphis Grizzlies, and Miami Heat.
Wojnarowski writes, “The proposed multiplayer trade is fluid, but the framework would include the Suns receiving a package that includes Miami forward Shawn Marion and Grizzlies forward Rudy Gay. Miami would send rookie Michael Beasley to the Grizzlies. More players would be needed to balance out salary-cap rules.”
Obviously, Amare Stoudemire would be headed to Miami, as the Heat think they could get him to a long term deal before his contract is up in ...

Some of them do okay with covering specific events. But often times you have a columnist who has an interest in a sport that tries to examine it as if he spends all his time on this one game.
Today Josh Coleman over at 3 Shades of Blue dissects Simmons’ analysis of OJ Mayo. It’s stunning becaust this is the second time inside of a week where I’ve been absolutely flabbergasted by a comment made by a general sportswriter who clearly ...

If you only read one NBA article today, avoid the mainstream journalistic cacca of sensationalistic rumours and bandstanding and read this from Joshua Coleman of 3 Shades of Blue. This is some of the most well thought out stuff I've read this week.
He talks about the blurring of perception and reality and how this relates to the evaluation of OJ Mayo's game. For what it's worth, OJ Mayo currently has my (non-existent) vote for Rookie of the Year, so far.
