It’s definitely a possibility. Jon Heyman of cnnsi.com speculates (pure speculation), that when New York Yankees catcher Jorge Posada returns, 1B Jason Giambi would become a candidate for release. There would obviously be a few things that have to happen for this to take place thou. [link]
