It seems the NFL primetime broadcasts have lost some luster. ESPN's 'Monday Night Football' and NBC's 'Sunday Night Football' saw record-low viewing numbers this season. MNF dropped 13 percent in cable area coverage to an 8.6 rating and its 11 million viewers was down nine percent from last year. SNF dropped nine percent to a 10.0 rating and averaged nearly 16 million viewers, which was down 9 %.
