This is a couple of weeks old, but we just saw it, and jeez, it's awfully entertaining. It's the California band's tribute to video games , and even though it's a reminder of just how geeky band folks are, it's still well, well worth it. [link]

... One more to close out the day. I know most of you fans of other forms of football don’t like the idea of marching bands in your game, but you have to admit — this halftime show put on by the University of California Marching Band is just, as a friend of mine put it, “amazing, beautiful, and very, very sad.
