Let me start by saying...I have cooled off.  The Elite XC show, particularly the main event, got to me and it go to me badly.  As a fan of the sport I had honestly never thought that we'd see CBS broadcasting a major event and when it happened the result was a piling on of poor production, bad endings to fights, and shady looking goings-on which all seemed to protect their ... Despite the amazing show put on by WEC last night, I still can’t seem to shake off the abortion of a show that was EliteXC. The only thing sports radio is talking about today is what a joke Kimbo Slice was. People say the best way to nurse a hangover is with more alcohol. So to help out my MMA hangover, I’m going to talk more MMA.

The CBS network debut of Elite XC, featuring the ever so popular Kimbo Slice, earned huge numbers and an outstanding rating. But this whole promotion of Kimbo Slice being a MMA superstar is going to turn out being a disaster.
