As reported by the Chicago Sun-Times: "'We're going to have a press conference, and that's likely what it'll be about,'' general manager Dale Tallon said when asked to confirm the change. WSCR-AM (670) has carried Hawks games since the 2000-01 season. Our love for the Chicago Blackhawks' classic hockey sweater is well-established and unwavering. So it's almost unfair that the Blackhawks' special "baseball-style" jerseys they've worn during events at Chicago White Sox games this season are, quite frankly, better looking than half of the NHL's current sweaters.
