The White Sox have scored 39 runs this season. 39 runs in 12 games. Currently, that ranks 13th in the AL in R/G, ahead of only the Angels, who've still scored more runs than the Sox. Some of our readers know about my disdain for the White Sox’s decision to award Darin Erstad the CF job. As I’ve outlined before , I would certainly prefer to see Brian Anderson playing CF. At least against lefties. Anyway, apparently Erstad is “gritty”, ”not afraid to get dirty”, and a “gamer”.
