Lions sign free agent TE Courtney Anderson

The Detroit Lions signed free agent tight end Courtney Anderson and waived tight end Rudy Sylvan on Monday. Sylvan was promoted from Detroit's practice squad for Sunday's 56-21 loss to Philadelphia after Dan Campbell was placed on injured reserve with an elbow injury. Anderson had 25 catches for 285 yards and two touchdowns last season with Oakland.
