Who's Sorry Now? Herm Edwards Edition [They Are Filled With Shame]
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Herm Edwards, we salute you. Not only did you basically tell your fans to go #### themselves after they complained about the Chiefs' losing record, but then you were forced to sloppily apologize ; essentially humbling yourself before fat guys who wear bags over their heads. All in all a glorious sequence for us here at Who's Sorry Now? Coach Herm Edwards ... [link]

Stray Arrows: Deadspin on Herm
Published 12/19/2007 by Adam at Arrowhead Addict | A Kansas City Chiefs Sports Blog
Deadspin has a great take on what some people are calling a half-ass Herm Edwards‘ apology. I guess if you weren’t satisfied with the man’s apology, then, well, just “get over it.” Here’s  my favorite part… Not only did you basically tell your fans to go #### themselves after they complained about the Chiefs’ losing record, but then you were forced to sloppily apologize; essentially humbling yourself before fat guys who wear bags over their heads.

Edwards likes Croyle as Chiefs 2008 starter
Brodie Croyle is questionable for Sunday's season finale at the New York Jets because of a hand injury that knocked him out of the Kansas City Chiefs ' 25-20 loss at Detroit. But even if doesn't play, Chiefs coach Herm Edwards believes he has seen enough in Croyle to make him the incumbent for 2008. In five starts, plus mop-up duty in two other games, Croyle, 24, has completed 107 of 181 ...
Herm Edwards: Brodie Croyle Will Be the Chiefs' Starting Quarterback in 2008
Chiefs quarterback Brodie Croyle hasn't exactly lit it up this year in Kansas City, and he has a nasty habit of getting hurt , but Chiefs coach Herm Edwards says Croyle will definitely enter 2008 as the starter. Randy Covitz of the Kansas City Star reports : Edwards believes he has seen enough in Croyle to make him the incumbent for 2008. The Chiefs, 4-11, can be staring at a top-five draft ...
Cancel Drummond’s Homecoming
Herman Edwards, I don’t know you from Herman Munster, but right now we’re on your side. Arrowhead Addict still approves of the job you are doing as the head coach of the Chiefs and has your back. But you almost lost us last week. There was absolutely no reason why Eddie Drummond should have been active [...]
Edwards Apologizes For Comments
Chiefs head coach Herm Edwards is apologizing for some things he said last week. His words to disappointed fans were, “It’s called life. Get over it.” At yesterday’s press conference, Edwards said a lot of people misinterpreted what he meant. He says that during tough times, you have to prepare to win the next game. The coach says he knows that the fans have a lot ...
Herm Edwards Apologizes for Telling Fans to 'Get Over' All the Losing
It sounds like Herm Edwards has seen the error of his ways. After last week telling fans to "get over" the losing -- "it's called life" -- the second-year Chiefs head coach wants a do-over : Edwards apologized to Kansas City Chiefs fans Tuesday for telling them to "get over it," and said he should have chosen his words more carefully in talking about their reaction to his team's long losing ...
HERM EDWARDS STILL NOT SORRY FOR SUCKING
by Tbone , The Sports Hernia Chiefs head coach Herm Edwards apologized to the fans of Kansas City Tuesday after telling them last week to "get over it," referring to their not-so-fun losing record of 4-10. Coach Edwards however failed to use the opportunity to simply apologize for sucking and perhaps own up to the fact that he's entirely responsible for his team's suckiness. Despite Herm's ...

What is Herm Edwards Thinking?
Ignoring his tasteless comments to the fans, Herm Edwards is out of his mind. There is no way he should bring Larry Johnson back this year. I'm all for finishing the season strong and playing with pride, but Larry is the KC franchise right now. Will two victories at Detroit and at the Jets make any difference? I doubt it, but it will negatively affect the Chiefs' draft status. Now I'm not ...
Chiefs Can't Even Win Home-field Advantage
Kansas City Star columnist Jason Whitlock might have the best opening sentence to a story about the listless Chiefs that I've read all season. After not showing up for the second half of yesterday's game against the Titans -- and, shockingly, losing in the process -- Whitlock writes of the hometown team : If Carl Peterson and Herm Edwards woke up Sunday morning determined to prove that Eddie ...
Dolphins Are Makin' a Free-Agent Wish List, Checkin' It Twice
Okay, so I think we've established that there are no quick fixes for this 2007 Dolphins outfit . Which means that it's going to take time to turn things around in Miami. One way -- and the way preferred by Kansas City fan favorite, Herm Edwards -- is through the draft . The other option is to load up on high-priced free agents. That strategy has been a resounding success in Washington. ...
Kansas City Chiefs Punch Out
What if I were to tell you that there was a place where you could go and not only punch out Carl Peterson, Herm Edwards and Mike Solari, but also not get in trouble for beating their asses. Alright, alright, it’s not an actual place — it’s a web address. Still, for those of you [...]
Herm Edwards Unveils 'The Plan'
Earlier this week, I wrote that after Kansas City's latest blowout loss, Herm Edwards said he would understand if fans skipped the Chiefs' final 2007 home game. He also added: "The good thing is, we've got a plan and we're going to fix it." That left Chiefs' fans everywhere to question "The Plan," and when they might expect to see it. No need to fret, people. Edwards is one step ahead of you ...
