Georgia asks to move World Cup match to Germany

The Georgian Football Federation asked FIFA on Wednesday for permission to play its World Cup qualifier against Ireland in Karlsruhe, Germany. The Sept. 6 match had to be moved from its scheduled venue of Tbilisi because of security concerns in the Georgian capital after the country’s territorial dispute with Russia.
