Oklahoma State Hyping Adarius Bowman for the Heisman

... that includes Bowman's statistics, photos and highlight videos. The 6-foot-4, 200-pound Bowman is clearly a talented big-play receiver for the Cowboys. He gained 1181 yards on the season, was second in the Big 12 in receiving yards per game and also caught 12 TDs in 2006. He also had a memorable game against Kansas in which he torched the Jayhawks' secondary for a Big 12 record 300 receiving yards. Despite the university's efforts, Bowman probably won't have the type of name recognition necessary to seriously push for the Heisman. And let's face it playing in Stillwater isn't exactly going to help his case. His chances might also be hurt by the presence of additional star-power in teammates Bobby Reid and Dantrell Savage. While the trio is sure to give Oklahoma State a high-powered offensive attack in 2007, their combined efforts could hurt Bowman's ability to pick up college football's ultimate prize come December.
