Mets sign Nunez to minor-league deal

The Mets have signed former Phillie Abraham Nunez to a minor-league deal and assigned him to Triple-A New Orleans. Nunez, 32, hit .234 in 136 games for the Phillies in 2007. The infielder was recently released by Milwaukee.
