Yes, obviously, when the Selection Committee does its job properly, 15 seeds are better teams than 16 seeds, and playing lesser competition. But does that really explain why the 1 seeds always beat 16 seeds and almost always blow them out, while 2 seeds frequently struggle against 15 seeds and sometimes even lose to them? Are 15 seeds that much better than 16 seeds, and are 2 seeds that much worse than 1 seeds? ...
