... going to the Knicks is outstanding news for the franchise. Players love playing in D'Antoni's system, so much that guys like Grant Hill have accepted below-market contracts just for a chance to contribute. Granted, the chance to contend for a title was likely just as much of a factor, but if D'Antoni can get the Knicks headed in the right direction, New York's salary cap nightmare may not be quite as much of a hinderence to getting over the hump as people think.
