With all due respect to Pedro Martinez’s family situation, let’s face it: He isn’t a savior. In fact, players such Martinez actually are harmful to the Mets in a way, and ultimately speak poorly of GM Omar Minaya’s soon-to-be-fleeting tenure. How so?
