Should United let him walk? Or should he be allowed to dictate his own future?
Personally, I think United can kick and scream all they want, but in today’s player driven world of modern football — can they realistically force the best player on the planet to remain at a place he quite clearly has decided he doesn’t want to remain at?

... The Guardian lead the charge of the English press turning on Christiano Ronaldo again. I can't believe I am about to defend CR here, but this line in the article makes my blood boil: "It was such an unpleasant scene the journalists decided not to write about it ...." What a bunch of total garbage. The English press live for this kind of crap. There is no way it went down like it's written about here or it would have been the biggest headlines of the year the day after it happened. Not to mention that this is seriously ticky tacky stuff here. ...
