I think the coolest scene at Wembley Stadium yesterday was seeing 80,000 mostly British fans singing our national anthem before the game. The game itself was dreadful at times, but the only time anyone seemed to mind was when Giants quarterback Eli Manning took a knee at the end of the game. All the booing prompted Fox sideline reporter Tony Siragusa to blurt out, "I paid $80 pounds to see these mates?" I thought it was interesting that several Giants changed to longer cleats in the first half. Not sure what took them so long. London Bowl Gives UK A Taste Of Parity ESPN’s Seth Wickersham notes that as middling an affair as Dolphins-Giants was, it did a pretty fair job of representing the true state of the NFL game to a European audience, where aside from the truly elite teams, it can be hard to distinguish the good teams from the bad teams when you put them on the field together.
