... the major leagues after undergoing surgery for thyroid cancer, made his second rehab start yesterday for the Tucson Sidewinders (the team’s AAA affiliate).  Taking on the Tacoma Rainiers, Davis picked up the victory after going 5 innings, giving up 2 runs on 4 hits and 2 walks, striking out 3.  There is a chance that Davis returns to the rotation as soon as this week, though that has not yet been confirmed.
