Gary Williams Wins Despite His Recruiting
Published 2/7/2008 by Jamie Mottram at Mr. Irrelevant
He may not recruit so good, but Gary sure can coach ‘em up, as evidenced by 600 career wins, good for the seventh-most in college basketball history. Maryland beat BC behind General Greivis’ best game ever and now stand at 5-3 in the ACC after starting 0-2. They’re also No. 57 in the RPI after hitting rock bottom just before Christmas. Of course, I just jinxed their ascension.
