Willie Randolph - My Take Links0

Well everyday in one of the New York papers there seems to be an article about Willie Randolph. Most of them are on whether or not he is the right Manager for the Mets, or Willie complaining about the fans and media being too hard on him and the Mets. Well my question is, what did he expect??? Let's take a look at 3 reasons at why we expect so much from Willie Randolph, and why he shouldn't be complaining about the fans.

1.)  He coaches in New York, and he knew what to expect when he took the job.

 2.) He has a $137 million payroll.

3.) He is the Manager of the "NEW YORK METS!"

There are many others as well. Hey don't get me wrong I think he's a decent Manager, except for the fact he doesn't know how to manage a bullpen. I also think the players like him and want him as their Manager. I just don't understand why he would be so stupid and rip his own fans. I'm sorry, but you don't call your home fans a drag in any town, especially New York! Sound off and let me know what you think. Are the fans being too hard on Willie Randolph?
