Now this, this was so appropriate. Chris Osgood had just broken Terry Sawchuk’s Red Wings record for postseason wins, and he was the one who brought it up in the postgame press conference. It is possible that nobody else in the room would have asked.
Osgood was not the story Monday night. When the Wings win, he never is.
