Yeah, I was happy to see this, too. There should be some space on defense in GR this season. Good idea to give this guy a couple of years and hope he can develop the puck skills sufficient to someday be a physical depth defenseman in the NHL. On another note, I guess it's encouraging that the Wings are thinking of signing both Downey and McCarty. A question: do you all think it would be better ... [link]
