Andrew Backman pitches well in Hawaii Winter Baseball
Published 10/4/2008 by admin at yankeesdaily.com
Andrew Backman Andrew Backman is the first round pick(30th) of the New York Yankees in 2007. I didn’t get to post about his first game on the 27th of September because the Yankees were still playing and the Yankee games distracted me from it. He didn’t pitch well in his first outing. He gave up 6 earned runs in 2.1 innings in his debut for the Waikiki BeachBoys. Brackman is a big dude. He stands 6′10 and weighs 270. He’s a right hander that pitched for North Carolina State. Yesterday Brackman pitched 5 shut out innings against the North Shore Honu and helped the Waikiki BeachBoys to victory. He gave ...
