The Yankees 2007 no. 1 draft pick Andrew Brackman makes his second start for the Waikiki BeachBoys tonight, as they take on the North Shore Honu. The game starts at 7 p.m. local time, which is 1 a.m. here in New York. Brackman's first start was on 9/27, and in 2.1 IP, he allowed six runs on seven hits, while walking two and striking out three. Andrew Backman Andrew Backman is the first round pick(30th) of the New York Yankees in 2007. I didn’t get to post about his first game on the 27th of September because the Yankees were still playing and the Yankee games distracted me from it. He didn’t pitch well in his first outing. He gave up 6 earned runs in 2.1 innings in his debut for the Waikiki BeachBoys. Brackman is a big dude. He stands 6′10 and weighs 270. He’s a right hander that pitched for North Carolina State. Jeremy Bleich Jeremy Bleich gave up 3 earned runs in 3.1 innings for the no decision against the North Shore Honu. Waikiki eventually lost the game 7-6. Bleich was drafted by the Yankees in the 08 June draft with their second pick, 44rth overall and is a lefty. He was Stanford University’s best pitcher until side lined with an elbow strain.
