Sliding Into Home: A Yankees Blog — In the AFL the Peoria Javelinas beat the Surprise Rafters 8-6: Box Score - Recap - Game Story Juan Miranda went 0-for-4 with a walk and a run scored. Phil Hughes started for the Javelinas and pitched very well. In 5 innings pitched he held the rafters scoreless on two hits, he also walked one and struck out six.
