With The 36th Pick Overall! Links1
Man, GM Ted Thompson loves drafting wide receivers in the 2nd round. He's done it in 3 of 4 drafts that he's managed, and took WR James Jones last season in the 3rd round. Congratulations Jordy Nelson!
Published 4/27/2008 by TB <info@bringonthecats.com> at Bring On The Cats: Front Page Posts
Consensus All-America Jordy Nelson will be taking his game north, to Green Bay, Wis.  Although the Packers are not my favorite NFL team, I will enjoy cheering Jordy on at the next level. Congratulations on the reward for all your hard work, Jordy, and best of luck at continuing to prove the doubters wrong.

More Guys I Like Off The Board

Lavelle Hawkins of Cal will be better than DeSean Jackson. Remember I said that, he lit it up all off-season. Shocked he didn't go sooner. Also love Red Bryant. He's in the Alan Branch mold. With The 135th Pick Overall - 4th Round

The Green Bay Packers select Central Florida T Josh Sitton. This is a reach as Sitton was not highly rated by New Era Scouting or Rivals.com . The Packers do need more competition on the offensive line, although they don't ...

Round 5, Pick 150: Packers pick OT Breno Giacomini

For the second straight pick, Ted Thompson went with an offensive tackle – this time Breno Giacomini out of Louisville. Giacomini has a monster stature at 6’7” and 303 pounds, and he’s apparently pretty versatile too ...
