I'm not much for giving grades, but I would say that so far the draft has stacked up in the A-B range. But this pick is the first that I really want to like but just can't get too enthusiastic about. Its a shame too, because like HT I really like the safety position and would love to see Denver take it very seriously. First off, this is the second pick that seems more suitable to ...NFL Draft Recap and Grades

Teams are ranked by Process Points, and then are given a subjective grade on their entire draft haul. Seattle Seahawks (12) – Traded back to grab a top five defensive end in Lawrence Jackson. Traded up in the second round to land John Carlson. Excellent first day, but not a whole lot of prospects from the second day. Justin Forsett could be a steal at Running Back. The 2008 NFL Draft is in the books, and the analysts will be handing out grades to all the teams to try and give an opinion on how they did. I highly doubt there will be good grades handed out to the Vikings, but not because they didn’t do well with the picks they had. For whatever reason, the trade and acquisition of Jared Allen will not be taken into consideration in the grading ...Day Two Recap: Head Of The Class

Simply put, I’m extremely impressed with the Chiefs‘ brass right now. Impressed enough that if they get all our picks signed quickly enough I might even drop the Arrowhead boycott. Before, I thought all of this rebuild-through-the-draft talk was just the Chiefs being frugal. In the NFL Draft’s aftermath, however, my opinion is starting to [...]Chiefs First Round Buzzkill

If you’ve been surfing around the interwebs like I have, you’ll notice that every news outlet out there is already distributing out 1 grades for each pick. 1a.(22) Felix Jones, RB, Arkansas - Wow, who didn't see this coming? Jones is from Arkansas, as is Jerry Jones, and what do we all know about Jerry? Huge ego. Anyway, it does make sense as a football decision, as Jones' excellent hands and is explosive enough to be a good changeup to MBIII. However, what happens when Barber wants more money? Chicago Bears Needs: OL, WR, RB, QB, DL Between inconsistent play, injuries and free agency, the Bears need a complete retooling on offense. Both starting receivers, Bernard Berrian (Vikings) and Muhsin Muhammad (Panthers), left via free agency. I have all intention of combing through the tube-series to find a collection of draft grades and then posting it here, but for now, I want to touch on Mel Kiper’s comments with a slew of sports reporters from the other day, courtesy of ITP . According to the draft pundits, the Broncos have generally been given less than favorable grades out there. This video review is no different, where ESPN’s Todd McShay ranks the Broncos 3rd in the AFC West behind Kansas City and Oakland. I could care less about the “grades,” but breaking down what the rest of the AFC West did over the weekend is at least interesting. ...Draft Grades: AFC East - Miami Dolphins!

Armed with many early draft picks and a rebuilding blue print (from the Big Tuna himself) the Dolphins were one of three teams (the others being K.C and ATL) who really had a chance to remake their team in one fell swoop. Denver Broncos Needs - LT, DT, KR/PR, WR, CB With the retirement of Matt Lepsis, the Broncos absolutely had to have a left tackle of the future out of this draft. Every year after the NFL Draft, grades are handed out to each team based on how successful they were during the preceding weekend. It's a pretty inexact science and grades vary quite a bit depending on who you talk to.
