... like Melo is (rightfully) the future and the cost-cutting has a distinct age-discrimination bend to it. It might not happen til next season's deadline, but major nonetheless.
But wait, there's more. The Charlotte Observer reports the Okafor and the Bobcats are at an impasse, and that a sign-and-trade might be imminent. In fact, it's in both sides' best interest to do this sooner, rather than later, given Okafor's injury history.
