... after a battle with police at a weekend wedding reception. Actually, the Houston Chronicle described the mayhem as a riot. A FEMA coordinator was also taken into custody. Just stunning at the complete insanity that overtakes people who have to know better. How long will it be before we learn that Backe suffered some kind of injury? This seems to be the undercard to Shawn Chacon-Ed Wade in Houston earlier this year. Here’s some video on this link. ...

Remember the bride who was tasered at her wedding earlier this year? Houston Astros pitcher Brandon Backe went to a wedding last weekend, and the after-party took pace at a hotel bar. Yada, yada, yada … Backe was kicked and punched in the face by the boys in blue, one guy was tasered and handcuffed, and there’s even insane video of it!

... 1. There's an update to that Houston Astros' pitcher wedding arrest. It turns out that after the wedding, the group went to the bar. The bride's brother tried to bring an outside drink into the bar when a fight ensued . . . which ended in the brother and his father - the bride's father - getting tasered and pepper sprayed by the police, and the brother airlifted to a hospital. Astros' pitcher Brandon Backe was apparently trying to break up the attack. At first blush, this sounded like a case of "liquid courage," but after reading more details and different ...
