the ice for all of Washington's goals in a 5-4 overtime win against the Islanders Tuesday, defenseman Brendan Witt said it was "a first for me." That dropped Witt's plus-minus rating to minus-15 in only 19 games played, but the Islanders' alternate captain said that statistic reflects the difficulty of playing new coach Scott Gordon's system more than anything else.
