Wizards to Pick Up Coach Eddie Jordan's Option

The Wizards will soon announce that the team will pick up the option on Coach Eddie Jordan's contract for the 2009-2010 season. Jordan, who signed an extension prior to the 2006-2007 season, would have been entering the final year of his deal. The decision is an obvious indication that owner Abe Pollin and president Ernie Grunfeld were pleased with the coaching job Jordan and his staff did last season.
