With G.M. Ted Thompson attempting to resolve a personnel dilemma that could bring his career with the Packers to an abrupt end, a familiar face is returning to town. As several readers have pointed out, former G.M. Ron Wolf is moving from Annapolis, Maryland back to Green Bay . Wolf was single-handedly responsible for bringing Favre to the Packers.  Wolf tried in 1991 as an employee of the Jets to draft Favre, but the Falcons got to him first.  Wolf then swung a deal with Atlanta to get Favre to Green Bay after Wolf became the G.M. there.
