Candace Parker and the Vols shut down one of the most prolific triangle offenses ever. It's ridiculous to think they held Candice Wiggins and the Stanford Cardinal to 45 points after averaging 90 in the last two tournament games. With the win, Parker cemented herself as one of the five best women's college basketball players of all time. Who is on your list?2008 WNBA Draft Board

One thing’s for certain, this was definitely not the same Stanford Cardinal team that the UConn Huskies faced back in November. Stanford head coach Tara VanDerveer even went as far as to call her team the “Stanford JV” team that UConn played back then. Tonight, Candice Wiggins was just too much handle for the Huskies as she led Stanford past UConn 82-73 to advance to ...Cleveland Trifecta on a boring sports day

A pretty… no, a very… boring sports day yesterday. When the lead story on ESPN.com is the Women’s Final Four and when on SI.com it’s a Men’s Final Four preview and a “The Hornets are for real” story (way to get creative SI and be on the ball), you know nothing great happened yesterday. Well that sucked. Just when it looked like we’d all be heading to Tampa next week, the Terrapin women’s basketball season ended here in Spokane on Monday night.
