U.S. team catcher Jason Castro pulled a three-run homer over the right field wall off lefty Luis Perez in the fifth, which had given the U.S. its 5-3 lead.

This was the case yesterday as the only chink in Jhoulys Chacin's inning of work was organization-mate Eric Young Jr's walk.
