Justine Henin Pulls a Barry Sanders, Retires
Published 5/14/2008 by TheBigLead at The Big Lead
Had to do a double-take on this one: Tennis star Justine Henin, 25, is retiring? Huh? She’s currently the No. 1 ranked tennis player in the world, and she’s bailing? Who does she think she is, Barry Sanders? Brett Favre? She’s won the French Open three years in a row, it begins in two weeks, and she’s quitting now? We eagerly await the conspiracy theorists to come out in droves on this one.
On another note, doesn’t Henin sort of look like Mary Stuart Parker?
