... Lou Gehrig. The photo was taken during the 1927 series when the Yankees Murderer's Row lineup crushed the Pittsburgh Pirates in a 4-game sweep. Leland's Auction House has the photo up for bidding on its website through June 6. Josh Leland Evans, the auction house's founder, expects that the photo could fetch a 100K. The two Yankees Hall of Famers were captured side by side on the dugout steps in Pittsburgh during the 1927 World Series, where the pair helped the Pinstripers sweep the Pirates for the championship.
