Worst NBA Teams, Worst Pro Basketball Teams, Worst National Basketball Association Teams
Just how low can they go? Several teams have struggled in the early going of the current NBA season. But do they have a chance at being historically bad? As bad as the 1972-73 Philadelphia 76ers, who finished 9-73, setting the standard for team wretchedness in the NBA. Wolves may be historically bad
Published 12/18/2007 by Scott Henneboehle at Wolves Watch
... The Wolves are starting to convince me that they are going to go down as one of the worst teams of all time.  At the beginning of the season, I was convinced that we would be able to steal enough victories to at least get to 10 to 15 wins this season.   Now I’m not so sure.  As you can see here, through 23 games, only 6 teams ever have had a worse record than the 3-20 record posted by the Wolves, one of them being the 72-73 76ers team that finished 9-73. ...

LOSING BLOWS LIKE THE COLD MINNESOTA WIND
Published 1/8/2008 by Jordi at Epic Carnival - Pop Culture, Sports, Celebrities, Babes, Rumors, Innuendo
... Like the arctic frost that seizes the state throughout the winter, a depressing grip of ineptitude has strangled the Minnesota Timberwolves this season. Even the pathetic duo of the New York Knicks and Miami Heat have double that amount. The T'Wolves' dubious trajectory has them on course to win a grand total of 10 games, only one better than the historically woeful 76ers. ...

Too Crazy To Make Up
Because we have been lucky enough to just bask in the glow of this wonderful Celtics season, there has been less talk of the Timberwolves than expected. For those of you living in a cave, though, let me refresh you - the Wolves have been a train wreck, easily the worst team in the league, and no one stands surprised. That said, we have to point out last night's game between Minnesota and ...
Pacers 'Feeling Minnesota'?
Tonight, Indiana takes on the young Minnesota Timberwolves in a game that could help Indiana climb the ladder of the Eastern Conference ranks.  This Minnesota team is not so much a team that is in transition, as they are a team in dismay.  At 3-21, Minnesota owns the worst record in the NBA.  The Kevin Garnett trade and the Ricky Davis trade left this team's cupboard bare, to ...
