... is plenty of time to make up four games on the Sox. Especially considering they still play them six more times. The catch? The up and down season has the Yanks in a down phase right now, meaning -- let's be honest -- do you think they looked like a playoff team at all against the Angels this weekend? The three-game sweep seems to indicate not. As for AL East chase? That 8.5 game deficit looks pretty insurmountable right now. Never say never, of course, but as GAKIII writes, it's not like the Yanks are moving in the right direction these days . Anyway, at least the team ...
